Silks and zari
- Dry clean only, with a cleaner who handles zari
- Store folded in muslin, never plastic
- Refold along different lines every few months so the creases don't set
Cottons and mulmul
- Hand wash cold, separately for the first few washes
- Dry flat in shade
- Iron on the reverse while slightly damp
